My name is Chris Austin and I want to welcome you to day6 photography. I have been a professional photographer for 3 years. I’ve always had a love for anything to do with art (songwriting, drawing, music, etc.), but I never saw photography as something I wanted to pursue until I bought my first compact camera. Over the past few years, I have often found myself purposely lost for hours in Mother Nature, capturing her in her quietest and most intimate moments. To me, there is nothing more peaceful than taking a drive down a deserted country road or walking through the woods, pushing life’s worries aside long enough to truly enjoy God’s workmanship. The inspiration behind my photography has always been and always will be my love for God and His creation. I am constantly amazed at all He has created for us to enjoy simply because He loves us. It is hard for me to wrap my mind around the fact that I am able to capture on camera what God created with His own hands so long ago.
God is the whole reason I have taken up photography.
Without Him, I would have nothing to photograph.
