Welcome to day6 photography, my little corner of cyberspace.  I created this site for one simple reason — to share my love of nature and photography with you.  

About 3 years ago, I bought my very first digital camera so I would be able to take pictures when I traveled.  Little did I know how much of a passion photography would turn into over the next couple of years.  I slowly started realizing how much I loved photographing nature.  I was always trying to think of places I could go to snap some good shots and couldn’t wait to take drives through the country or walk in the woods with the sole purpose of capturing mother nature on camera; the more photographs I took, the more passionate I became.

 About a year ago, I started posting my photographs on myspace.  I figured I might as well put them somewhere where others could look at them.  My friends started asking me if I would consider selling any of my photographs, which got me thinking about what I wanted to do with my photography.  Did I just want to take pictures as a hobby or did I want to take it a step further and actually try selling my photography?  My answer to that question is day6 photography.

My site is called day6 photography because of a specific verse in the Bible which says that on the sixth day of creation, God looked at everything He had made and it was very good.  I saw the name as a perfect fit.
